FREQUENTLY
SOMETIMES VERY FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why is registration closed now when it said it was open until Sept. 7th?
We filled up! Remember we limit class sizes so that they are not crowded to the point that the Scouts can’t learn.  That’s why we encourage everyone to register early and they did! Thanks to all who registered early and we look forward to seeing you there!

Can I register my Scout individually?
No, we need to have each Scout registered with his unit as a group. If a Scout needs to register individually, he will be entered after the units have registered and may not get his top choices. Make sure your Unit Leader or your Troops MBW coordinator polls your Troop and gets everyone’s choices selected as early as possible. There is plenty of time if you plan accordingly. Waiting until the last minute gets you last minute results! Please remember, popular classes have always filled before the deadline.

What if my Scout only wants to attend  one session. Can he take just one class?
Yes, he must be registered as usual and have someone who can be responsible for him from his unit. The registration fee is the same as if he attended both sessions.

Why can’t my Tenderfoot Scout take the Communication Merit Badge?
We limit some Eagle required Merit Badges to Life and Star Scouts as we have limited space for these highly popular classes. These type classes also are not suited for younger Scouts. There are plenty of other Merit Badges available for the younger Scouts that would suit them very well.
